Nearly 50 kids will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with Liverpool FC’s official charity, LFC Foundation. LFC’s “Mighty Red” liver bird mascot and members of LFC Foundation’s coaching staff will team up with United Way of St. Joseph County.

Upon learning Liverpool Football Club would host Borussia Dortmund for the first-ever international soccer friendly at Notre Dame Stadium, EverFi connected United Way and LFC Foundation. This Friday, together with United Way, participants of the local Boys and Girls Club summer programming will have the opportunity to meet LFC Foundation coaches, LFC’s “Mighty Red” liver bird mascot, and experience soccer! Liverpool FC Foundation will run participants through drills at a number of stations and share their soccer knowledge and skills. Boys and Girls Club Executive Director, Kristen Cassady said she is thrilled to have the LFC Foundation come to the club.
