The mission of the OneRoof Neighborhood Centers is to create and sustain a physical location that fits the gaps in needed resources in the areas where the centers are located.
COMMUNITY NAVIGATORS
Two full time community navigators are available for assistance Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm and can help connect individuals and families in need with resources and services. They can be reached by phone and in person (574) 393-8809
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
The Tire Rack.com Center for Excellence houses the El Campito Child Development Center serving children ages 12 weeks through 12 years old.
YOUTH, ADULT & SENIOR PROGRAMMING
Programs tailored to youth and seniors occur daily. REAL Services provides daily lunch to seniors and many local youth organizations host regular programming. We welcome all members of the neighborhood to enjoy coffee or just spend some time in our community space.
PARTNER PROVIDERS
El Campito Early Childhood Development Center, REAL Services, Bowen Center, Indiana WIC, BABE Store, Family & Children's Center “Brain Train” and Mental Health Awareness Michiana (MHAM) also operate out of the center.
United Way, along with community partners, have built a new neighborhood center that will serve as a replicable model bringing new resources to the fight against poverty. The Southeast Neighborhood Center located at 405 E Dubail Ave. at the corner of Fellows St was built on a total of 5 empty lots which have been donated to the United Way by 466 Works and the City of South Bend. Anchored by a high-quality Early Learning Program, the new facility provides holistic social, health, youth and senior services.
